Description
The Church of St. Mary (Male Gospe) is located to the East of the settlement of Dunave in the parish of Mrcina. The church was severely damaged by an earthquake in 1979, and a new church was built in its place in 1982. A fragment with Glagolitic letters, carved by a certain Goneslav, was discovered among the building material of the old church, making it the oldest historical source about the church. The original ground plan of the early medieval church, from which the inscription originates, is not known.
