Description
The Church of the Birth of the Holy Mother of God is situated in Kuti. It is a single nave edifice with a semicircular apse on the Eastern side and an entrance on the Western side. It was probably built in the 11th century. The church has been converted into the chapel of the local cemetery. The fresco decoration in the church must be of recent fabric, because it shows, amongst others, the late Metropolitan Amfilohije of Montenegro (1938-2020). The iconostasis seems to be from the 19th century.
