Description
The Church of St. Vitus is situated on the highest peak of the Island of Brač, Vidova gora, 778 m above sea level, and is also the highest point of the entire Adriatic archipelago.
The remains of the Church indicate a single nave edifice divided by two pilasters into two bays, with a semicircular apse, both on the outside and the inside. Judging by its ground plan, it was probably built between the 9th and the 11th century.
