Description
The Church of St. Mary is situated on the Island of Ošljak.
Its a single nave edifice with a semicircular apse, built probably in the 5th or 6th century. Its façade is decorated with lesenes. In the 9th or 11th century the Church was supplemented by a system of pilasters and vaults, so its interior was divided into three bays. In the 13th century the Church was redecorated once more, when its façade was changed. Bell tower was added on its Western side.
