Description
The St Anthony Monastery in Laç is a very important Catholic pilgrimage site in Albania. The Monastery was built by Franciscans in the second haf of the 13th century and expanded and co-consecrated to St Mary in the 16th century. The Monastery was demolished by the Albanian Communist party and rebuilt in 1992.
