| Biskupija, Church of St. Cecilia at Stupovi | Place | The Church of St. Cecilia was built before 1088, probably around 1060. It is probably to be identified with the church in front of which King Dmitar Zvonimir (reigned 1076-1089) was murdered. It fell to ruins at an unknown date. It was a three-nave edifice with three apses, and was probably vaulted. On the Western side was a narthex and a bell-tower and together they formed a westwerk. On the Southern side was a chapel. |
