The Serbian Emperor Stefan Uroš IV Dušan (reigned 1331-1355) donated several fishermen in the village or region of Plav to the Monastery of the Holy Archangels Michael and Gabriel near Prizren (Gk XV 303; SN ZSp., - u Plavě selo Dosuge; MSM Gl XII, 39 - selo u Plavě Gradь).
