In 1299/1300 or May 1308 (?) the Byzantine Emperor Andronikos II Palaiologos - at the instigation of the Serbian King Stefan Uroš II Milutin - donated a summer pasture near the village of Ljubotěnь to the Monastery of Chilandar.
