Description
Demetrius Chomatianus, well-known as an outstanding Byzantine canonist, was Archbishop of Ohrid (approx. 1216–1236). The Corpus of the Ponemata diaphora is his major work. It consists of personal and official letters, expert testimonies and verdicts, and proceedings of the Ohrid Synodal Court.
