Bishop Vlacho started his career as archimandrite in the church of the Holy Virgin of Htetovo sometime in the 1320's. He is mentioned in the Nomic's Charter as a brother of a certain kirь Aleksa (I reče kirь Aleksa: kьda běše moi bratь Vlaho jepiskopь u Htětově archimudritъ).
