Nikola in Orehovo Source On 9 September 1330 the Serbian King Stefan Uroš III Dečanski (reigned 1322-1331) issued a Slavonic charter for the Monastery of Sv. Nikola in Orehovo. Therein, he reports that he had refurbished the monastery. Moreover, the Serbian King confirmed existing possesions of the monastery and donated to the monastery new privileges and landed property in the vicinity of Sofia and the upper valley of the river Struma.
Mračka gramota Source The Bulgarian Tsar Ivan Aleksandar (reigned 1331-1371) issued his charter (the so-called Mračka gramota or Orjahovska gramota) for the Monastery of Sv. Nikola Mrački (Pešterski manastir) on 1 December 1347. Therein, he confirmed and donated possessions as well as privileges to the monastery.
