Description
On the demand of the Serbian King Stefan Uroš II Milutin, the Byzantine Co-Emperor Michael IX Palailogos donated several meadows in the marsh called Lisice to the Monastery of Chilandar (Takožde i u Blatě u Lisičahь několikō nivija blizь). Blato points to a marshland of a dead river channel. The Byzantine Co-Emperor Michael IX Palaiologos confirmed the donation (ὁμοίως περὶ τὸ ἐκεῖσε βάλτον, εἰς τόπον καλούμενον τὴν Λυσίτζιανιν, χωράφια τινὰ πλησίον τῶν δικαίων τοῦ Καλομένου).
