Description
According to the renowned Yugoslav geographer and anthropologist Jovan F. Trifunoski (1914-1997) the region of Torbešija comprises the villages of Držilovo, Gorogleda, Elovo, Umovo, Cvetovo, Dolno Količane and Pagaruša. It was settled by the Torbeši, islamicised Macedonians, in the second half of the 18th century and the first half of the 19th century.
