Description
The village of Gostilje appears in an unreliable charter of Saint Sava (ca. 1175-1236) for the Monastery in Vranjina (SSS 198). The Serbian King Stefan Uroš II Milutin (reigned 1282–1321) mentions two places with this name in 1314 (Sp. IV 5 - Sel'ca. Sela: Dinoše, Hrastije u Podlužii, Godilje, Žaborovo, Gostilje i drugo Gostilja).
